" Having been an athlete most of my life, I refused to acknowledge that my professional lifestyle replaced balanced meals with snack bars and rigorous exercise with walking my dog.

I was thinking that something needed to change when I read an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about an Adventure Boot Camp in South Park. I pored over the article carefully and clung onto phrases like, "Women of all fitness levels, sizes and ages are gaining great results with Adventure Boot Camp." The program seemed the very catalyst I needed.

Over the course of the 5-day-a-week program, I was amazed to find my body was capable of performing difficult exercises that incorporated balance, strength and coordination in extreme heat and humidity.

After a nutrition course and 3 weeks of exercise, I noticed a change in how my pants were fitting! Most importantly, I felt healthy again.
