I am 39 yrs old and just started running a year
ago when I quit my job to stay at home with the kids. I ran
my first race today (the Great Race) and I ran it in 51:52.
An average of 8:30 minute miles. I would never have been able
to achieve this if I had not participated in your classes. When
I started running last year I could barely break a 10 minute
mile and could barely run 2-3 miles at a time. I did this for
about 9 months. That was even between taking months off to move
into a new house and thru the summer when the kids were home
from school. I new I had to make a change if I was going to
be better. That is what lead me to your class in August. I am
in the best shape of my life - even staring down the barrel
of 40yrs old. The weight training and cross training was exactly
what I needed. My goal was not to lose weight but to get stronger.

Brian - When I heard about Pgh Boot Camp on Y108 - I was actually
considering a new medical procedure to help get the abdominal
fat taken away that I felt I couldn't do anything about. Thank
goodness I signed up for your camp before throwing away Thousands
of dollars! I decided to jump in the deep end and devote 5 nights
a week to hour long sessions. I not only gave the camp 100% but
I also followed the great nutritional advice that you gave us.
When I first signed up I was worried how I would handle going
to all the workouts for a full monthl. The best part about this
experience was that I was able to push myself well beyond the
limits that I thought I was capable of. This gave me great personal
satisfaction. Your support and encouragement really helped to

Jacob & Justin:This has been a great experience for me!
I have never exercised this hard in my life, but I have never
liked exercising this much either! I have found that I am more
energetic in my daily life now and feel better and happier too.
Even though the workouts are hard, I have such a feeling of
accomplishment after we are done. I never thought that I could
do many of these exercises, so this had really boosted my confidence.
I can't say enough great things about it! The support and motivation
by the camp instructor is outstanding and always positive. Thanks
so much for this experience!My husband is jealous now because
I have fun working out and he is stuck doing the same old thing!

I have had high cholesterol due to heredity since I was 5-years-old.
Sports and regular exercise kept this under control, but over
the past 2 years, I have not kept up with my exercise. I received
an alarming phone call about a month before boot camp from my
doctor saying that my cholesterol had reached 244!!! Not at
all normal for a 24-year-old. She told me it was either exercise
or medication. I refused to accept the option of medication,
so, exercise it was....I can happily say, after 5-days-a-week
of boot camp, my overall score is down 44 points, and my bad
cholesterol is down 35 points!!! I cannot thank you all enough!

Hey Brian,
Well, I made it through half the camp and just wanted to drop
you a note and say thanks. I had been in such a rut with my
workouts and the same ol' aerobics classes. Also, the nutrition
class and information you provided was really been helpful.
I have been following the nutrition plan this week and lost
3lbs. This has been such a great experience and I definitely
think I will be signing up for the next camp.

Having been an athlete most of my life, I refused to acknowledge
that my professional lifestyle replaced balanced meals with
snack bars and rigorous exercise with walking my dog.
I was thinking that something needed to change when I read
an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about an Adventure
Boot Camp in South Park. I pored over the article carefully
and clung onto phrases like, "Women of all fitness levels,
sizes and ages are gaining great results with Adventure Boot
Camp." The program seemed the very catalyst I needed.
Over the course of the 5-day-a-week program, I was amazed to
find my body was capable of performing difficult exercises that
incorporated balance, strength and coordination in extreme heat
and humidity.
After a nutrition course and 3 weeks of exercise, I noticed
a change in how my pants were fitting! Most importantly, I felt
healthy again.

Pittsburgh Boot Camp is simply awesome! It gives me the motivation
I need to keep going, and allows me to realize that I am able

a very big deal for me! Its nice to know that they will always

If you're looking for a way to get out of an exercise rut,
Pittsburgh Adventure Boot Camp is a great way to get motivated.
I had been going to a gym for years and was tired of doing the
same things and not seeing results. After seeing an article
in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about boot camp, I thought it
might be just what I needed to kick start my weight loss, and
achieve my fitness goals. Not only did I lose weight and inches
at boot camp, but I became motivated through my instructors
to eat healthy and try exercises I thought I would never be
able to do. I finally feel like I'm going to be able to lose
the weight I've been struggling with for years because I've
been taught the proper ways to exercise and eat. I loved boot
camp so much, that I signed up for next session and I can't
wait for it to start. My friends can't believe I look forward
to getting up so early in the morning to work out, but Jacob,
Justin, and Brian made everyday challenging and yet fun at the
same time. I would recommend this program to anyone that wants
to lose weight and is looking for some motivation. Pittsburgh
Adventure Boot Camp has changed the way I feel about myself
and what I am able to accomplish. I can't thank Jacob, Justin,
